Department of OBGYN

Michael Bonidie, MD

  • Associate Professor, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences, Division of Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery

Dr. Bonidie’s work has been primarily focused on surgical outcomes in gynecology.  Much of that work has focused on cost impact of various entities that are routinely affecting gynecologic operations.  A particular focus on how to optimize efficiency in the use of robotic technology in surgery is an ongoing passion.  Similarly, teaching medical students, residents, fellows and attending surgeons with regard to the nuances and techniques that can optimize robotic surgery in gynecology has been an ongoing mission.    Dr. Bonidie has also participated in collaborative efforts to investigate the human tissue response to meshes that are implanted in pelvic reconstructive surgeries.
