Why Magee? When I was interviewing, I was looking for a place where I would feel supported and for people who I would love to be around. Looking back on my first labor block, I know I picked the right place! I am constantly challenged in the best way, supported, and absolutely LOVE my co-residents. I felt like Magee was the place that had everything I was looking for and would allow me to do anything my heart desired post-residency. I feel so validated I am at the right place!
Favorite Pittsburgh Things: I live in Shadyside and have loved getting to know this area outside the hospital! Some local favs are Noodlehead, Urban Tap, and Soba. I also have had a ton of fun kayaking downtown and going to a Pirates game!
Current Post-Residency Plans: Not sure! I know I want to be in academics and love the idea of being in a role like PD or clerkship director. I have loved Obstetrics so far, but did a ton of Gyn Onc in med school and also loved that. Who knows?!
Hobbies: Reading - I was quick to join the residency book club! Working out - I love to Peloton and try new workout classes (Magee has 3 pelotons!), traveling (I recently did a global health elective in Thailand and got engaged in Paris)
