Department of OBGYN

Margaret A. Flanigan, MD

  • Graduate Medical Resident
  • Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Hometown: Salt Lake City, Utah

Favorite things to do in Pittsburgh:  Walk my dog Moose in Schenley Park! It’s so close to my house and he gets very curious about the deer.

Favorite restaurant: So many good options! Probably Hidden Harbor because they have delicious food, yummy drinks, and an excellent vaccination policy.

Favorite place for take-out: Spice Affair for dinner or Pigeon Bagels for breakfast after a night shift

Favorite rotation so far: I’ve honestly enjoyed all of them so far, but probably gyn nights

Post-residency plans: Maybe Gyn Onc, but I’m still open to anything.

What’s your favorite thing about Pittsburgh/Magee: I really love how much Magee feels like a family! Getting to stay at one hospital for almost all of our training is such a privilege from a learning perspective and it also means that we get to work with so many people who are equally passionate about gender and women’s health
