Favorite things to do in Pittsburgh: Bike along the river trails, hike in North Park, and eat any and all foods
Favorite restaurant: Driftwood Oven, Handel’s Ice Cream (not a restaurant but ice cream is essential sooo)
Favorite place for take-out: Nicky’s Thai always
Favorite rotation so far: I’ve only done labor and delivery so far, but I’m super excited for 2A (our gyn block) and family planning!
Post-residency plans: I love Pediatric Gynecology so much and in all likelihood will pursue fellowship! I’m interested in advancing sex-ed, contraception awareness and access for adolescents, and gender care and treating kiddos with congenital conditions and reproductive anomalies.
What’s your favorite thing about Pittsburgh/Magee: This group of co-residents, mentors, and attendings is truly so special. Having only been here a couple months, I already feel so welcomed, loved, and supported and although everyone says the people are the best part, it’s SO true. Pittsburgh-wise I love that my family is here and that there’s always something to do outdoors
